Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop industry but it's already established its name due to its suite of innovative cleaning technologies. Its vacuums feature industry-leading suction power, while the mopping systems of the brand include vibrating mops that help scrub floors to remove dirt. Plus, a wide range of scheduling and mapping options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your specific home.

Roborock's obstacle avoidance function allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its own height. This is particularly useful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation thanks to both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other Robovacs are often seen to crash into furniture and run over pet faeces without noticing however the Qrevo Master solves this problem with Reactive AI, which makes use of twin cameras to discern objects in the room.

It's a little smaller than many of the competition and its main brush is smaller than others, but it did a great job of making short work of our test area effortlessly. The revolving brush on the side for edges is a nice feature and, while it didn't lift dirt from our rugs and was not as effective as other competitors however, it did a good job overall.
